Dear sir,

I am writing to complain about our region, we don't have a lot of water. Some years ago, in this zone it rained a lot but nowadays it doesn't. We are worried about it because the water is being wasted.

We have thought of some possible solutions to improve the problem but we need some help because we are a little town that our job consists basically of the agriculture.

On the one hand, we'll want to buy a system that recycles the water and moreover, this mecanism also can eliminate the seal of the water of the beach. We are situated in a zone where we have the sea next the town and I think that we are lucky.

On the other hand, we'll want keep on the water that fall to the sky or bring water to Belish from the other towns.

We need economic financyal help and some ideas more to improve our problem if those ideas we have said before aren't good.

Yours faithfully

Kate Paris

RACC : Speed limit no plus in air qualiti

Proporsals by the Generalitat to reduce speed limits from 100 to 80 km/h on roads in the Barcelona metropolitan area have been shammed by RACC, Catalonia's auto club. The group maintains that the problem is congestion, not speed.

Starting January 1, the Catalan Transit Service will begin fining motorists for acceding 80 km/h on roads in the metropolitan area. Up until then there is a period of grace when errant drivers will be sent a copy of the speed radar photo without being lived a fine.

Descripton of a place

One of the best things about Majorca is that you can found lots of things. It's a huge country and you can do any activity that you want like shopping, go to the beach, climb, etc. I really love the Majorca climate. Almost of the days it's sunny. There are also many zoos with unusual animals.

Majorca is famous for is oudoor life and the pearls of the isleand. In summer, you can see thausands of people plying sports and sunbathing on the beach. I used to spend hours with my cousin Marta playing volleyball.

I think that the best thing about Majorca is the people; they are really kind. I made a lots of friends there and nowadays we talking every month once or twice.

Writing

Hi darling!!

How are things¿? I'm very well and happy because last week it was my birthday and my father gave to me a gift, a very beautiful present. It's a book-->"Dead of a Beekeeper" by Lars Gustafsson.

I write this letter because I enjoyed this book a lot and I thought that you would love it, too. The plot is about one beekeeper that was married with a girl called Diana. They live in a small town called Timland and in ancient times there was a virus with all the animals that can fly. One day, Bem saw that his bees didn't make honey and he saw that they had a problem, they were infected by a virus and one of them bit his face and he has a big infection. For these reason he died.

Marta, it's a very nice book!!! I hope you love it. If you read it, send me a letter with your opinion.

A big hug and kss***

Sea Greens

Magazine Resident, December 2007 number 28

Seaweeds are some of the oldest living things on planet, and one of the few truly wild plants left. They are self-sufficient and a sustainable resource, and are chock-full of all the nutrients they nedd, wich happen to be pretty much all the nutrients we need.

A 2001 study by the "Universidad Compultense de Madrid" found that seaweeds contain all the essential elements the human body requires.

They're good for the immune system, cell reproduction and function and metabolism.
As ecologists and vegetarians, they were interested including seaweed in their own diet.
